Paraíso del Sur

«Placing the landscape as the essential theme in a journey from north to south»

In this combination of enamel and metal, I have sought to express my admiration for the landscape of my region, bringing colour and form to a personal expression, sometimes exaggerated, due to the handling of the metal and the use of colour. Placing the landscape as the essential theme in a journey from north to south.

The nobility of the metal gives the depicted landscape the strength it needs to endure over time and to be appreciated by visitors to the region and by anyone who stops for a minute to look. This personal work was born with the intention of leaving a visual record of the landscape, with a different technique, as another means of expression, adapting form and colour to the metal, with its strength and hardness, filling the format as if wanting to break out of the frame.
